Water and Sewer Construction

Test Description

Utility Division:

In the late 1960s, the management of Propst Construction Company saw the need to expand into the public utility construction market. The utility division was established to supplement the needs of the highway division by installing storm drainage and water and sewer lines.
As municipalities across North and South Carolina began to expand their utility systems, Propst Construction Company chose to pursue these markets by installing thousands of miles of water and sewer pipe across both states. Our crews have installed water and sewer pipe ranging from ¾” water services to 54” sewer transmission mains and 60” water mains. We have worked extensively for municipal owners such as Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities, City of Concord , City of Kannapolis, City of Albemarle, Stanly County, City of Monroe, Union County, City of Rock Hill, York County, City of Hendersonville, NCDOT, SCDOT and others.
Our employees are well-trained, safe, competent, eager, and experienced. Our equipment is modern and well-maintained. We pride ourselves in construction work that is complicated, multifaceted, challenging and time critical. As a subcontractor, we strive to be a seamless extension of the prime contractor’s forces with the purpose of producing projects on time and of the highest quality.
